Before a project is accepted, we make a significant investment in data collection and education. From subscriptions to multiple data services, including Ribbon Demographics (Nielsen Claritas), Site To Do Business (ESRI), and various local sources of comparable databases, to maintaining our own database of multifamily comparables, our research portfolio continues to grow and evolve with each project we complete.

In the process, our analysts develop the PMA (primary market area), determine the comparables, conduct fieldwork, assemble comprehensive research on economic, civic, and business trends, and more. We analyze capture rates (need-based and demand-based), occupancy rates, penetration rates, and other trends that influence housing options to provide clarity and answers to our client's questions.

As market analysts, we have ongoing education requirements from NCHMA, and we are committed to the organization and our communities. You may see us at NCHMA meetings, state allocation agency meetings, or affordable housing conferences as presenters, speakers, panelists, or attendees.
