Elizabeth (Liza) Chen Mutzl

Managing Partner | Principal Analyst

Liza is the Managing Partner and a Principal Market Analyst at MMA Inc., as well as a commercial property appraiser, certified in Indiana, Michigan, and Ohio. She began her career as an appraiser and added market studies along with appraisals in 1997. Liza joined NCHMA in 2005 and became a certified market analyst with NCHMA in 2008. She became part owner of Mitchell Market Analysts, Inc. (now MMA Inc.) in 2011.

Liza is an Executive Board member of the National Council of Housing Market Analysts (NCHMA), currently serving as Vice Chair and serving as co-chair of the education committee since 2011. Liza will ascend to the role of Chairperson in 2022. During her time with NCHMA, Liza has spoken on multiple panels and helped host the 2017 spring conference in Indianapolis. 

Liza performs market studies for private industry as well as for local housing agencies, the Department of Housing and Urban Development, and other state and national agencies.
